Job: Emergency Footing Extension

It’s not often that we’re called to extend a foundation on a new home construction. 

The client’s hardscaping plans changed to include brick siding that extended to the bottom of the house. As a result, they needed a footing extension installed short-notice on a Saturday to provide a foundation

To achieve it, we doweled in rebar connections every 18 inches to connect the new cement to the existing foundation. This was done to ensure a strong base that can withstand significant weight. We also provided a smooth base finish to create a level surface to accommodate the new brick siding.
