Project Overview
A rental property owner in Turlock was dealing with an ongoing parking issue. Tenants frequently parked on landscaped flower beds because the existing driveway did not provide enough space for multiple vehicles. Over time, this created damage to the property’s landscaping and reduced the overall appearance of the home.
The owner wanted a practical, long-term solution that would improve parking availability while protecting the property’s curb appeal.
The Challenge
The existing driveway was too narrow to comfortably accommodate all of the vehicles associated with the rental property. As a result, tenants often parked partially on the landscaping, causing damage to flower beds and creating maintenance headaches for the property owner.
The goal was to increase usable parking space without sacrificing functionality or creating drainage issues.
Our Solution
BSR Renovations expanded the existing concrete driveway to create additional parking space and improve vehicle access. Our team:
- Removed and prepared the expansion area
- Tied the new concrete into the existing driveway
- Formed and poured a durable concrete extension
- Finished the surface to blend with the existing hardscape
- Created a wider parking area capable of accommodating multiple vehicles
The expanded driveway provides significantly more usable space and eliminates the need for vehicles to park on landscaped areas.
Project Results
With the driveway expansion complete, tenants now have ample room to park their vehicles entirely on the paved surface. The property owner no longer has to worry about damaged flower beds, and the improved parking layout has made the property more functional for current and future tenants.
